In all my work – as a conference interpreter, language teacher and communication trainer – I have always seen myself as a facilitator, the person in the background who helps others to communicate better, to activate their dormant skills and thus make them fully realise their potentials. Over twenty years I have developed and applied this facilitating approach in many different types of seminars focussing on presentation techniques, meetings and negotiating skills in English. A special interest of mine is the intercultural context that sets the stage for all people who communicate in English for professional reasons.
